Lord of the Hunt será la primera expansión de historia para Shadow of Mordor, y literalmente nos llevará de cacería por los confines de Mordor.
En este DLC Talion unirá fuerzas con el cazador Enano Torvin, quién posee poderes para dominar a las bestias que rondan por Mordor, mismas que planean usar contra los Warchiefs de Sauron, quienes buscan eliminar a estros monstruos antes de que sean puestos en su contra.
Los monstruos que agrega Lord of the Hunt son, el Wretched Graug que puede arrojar vómito tóxico a los enemigos, el Caragath ideal para asechar al enemigo, y los Ghul que pueden atacar en hordas. También encontrarán nuevos némesis en los Uruks “Beastmster Warchiefs”, así como nuevas runas épicas y un nuevo traje para convertir a Talion en todo un Beastmaster.
Warner Bros. Interactive menciona que el Lord of the Hunt llegará a Shadow of Mordor más adelante en el año, probablemente poco después de que el juego sea lanzado en PlayStation 3, y Xbox 360 este 18 de noviembre.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Monolith Productions today revealed new details about Lord of the Hunt, the first DLC expansion pack for Middle-earth™: Shadow of Mordor™, available for purchase and to Season Pass holders later this year. In Lord of the Hunt, Sauron has dispatched lethal Beastmaster Warchiefs to exterminate the monsters of Mordor. Talion will join Torvin the Dwarven Hunter and use his powers of Domination to turn these menacing new beasts against the Warchiefs, proving that Mordor cannot be tamed.
Lord of the Hunt adds hours of new gameplay, and includes the following:
· New Story & Lore – Discover more tales from Torvin, the Dwarven Hunter, as you work together to tame the beasts of Mordor and fight Sauron’s minions.
