Paradox Interactive y CreativeForge publicaron un diario de desarrollador para Ancient Space, en el que podemos apreciar el primer gameplay de este juego de estrategia espacial.
En el video los desarrolladores mencionan que quisieron ir por un camino más al estilo de misiones de la NASA en lugar de tener una opera espacial al estilo Star Wars. Joe Fricano Productor Senior en Paradox, menciona que es una suerte de “misterio contemplativo”.
Y aunque puede sonar a que se la pasaran colocando satélites en órbita, la referencia a la NASA va más por la solemnidad y profesionalismo en el comportamiento de los personajes, y la misma misión, que por las misiones que en si dicha agencia espacial realiza en el mundo real. El talento de voz para Ancient Space reúne a actores de Star Trek TNG/Voyager/Entreprise, la reimaginada Battlestar Galactica, y Fireflight, junto a Dina Meyer.
Ancient Space será lanzado este 23 de septiembre en PC, y ya pueden preordenarlo en la página de Paradox Interactive.
CreativeForge también se encuentra desarrollando de manera independiente el título Hard West para el cual crearon una campaña en Kickstarter que culmina este sábado 6 de septiembre.
