Ayer comenzaron a circular los rumores y hoy Gearbox Software junto con 2K Games, confirmaron el lanzamiento de la edición Game of the Year de Borderlands 2 para este 8 de octubre en Norteamérica y el 11 para el resto del mundo. Y como suele ser el caso, esta edición contendrá todo el contenido descargable y de pre-venta que ha salido hasta la fecha para Borderlands 2.
El costo de la edición será de $60 USD lo que los hará acreedores al contenido del Pase de Temporada; Captain Scarlett and her Pirate’s Booty, Mr. Torgue’s Campaing of Carnage, Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt, y Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep. El contenido del Premiere Club, que fuera exclusivo de pr-eventa; los personajes Gaige y Krieg, paquete de armas, llave dorada, reliquia Vault Hunter, las cabezas y trajes de la edición de colección, el Creature Slaughter Dome, y el Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1.
Y aunque Gearbox no hace mención de si esta edición del juego es la que llegará a PS Vita el próximo año, es de asumirse que se así será, ya que de lo contrario será en definitiva más atractivo adquirir esta versión definitiva del título para consolas caseras que para Vita, que también está la remota posibilidad del Cross Buy…
