La nueva entrega de Rockstar, Grand Theft Auto V, alcanzó en tan solo tres días mas de mil millones de dólares en ventas, convirtiéndose en el videojuego en alcanzar dicha cifra más rápidamente y prácticamente la primer IP de entretenimiento en lograrlo en ese plazo.
El año pasado Call of Duty: Black Ops II alcanzó las ventas por mil millones de dólares hasta el quinceavo día de estar a la venta, en cuanto a películas, The Avengers, Avatar y Harry Potter, llegaron a la misma marca en 19 días. Desarrollado por Rockstar North GTAV se encuentra disponible para PlayStation 3 y Xbox 360.
