CD Projekt RED y Fuero Games presentaron hoy el primer video con gameplay del MOBA para móviles The Witcher Battle Arena, y anunciaron el inicio de inscripciones para participar en la beta cerrada del título en Android.
The Witcher Battle Arena fue anunciado a principios del mes pasado, y es parte de la estrategia de CD Projekt RED para ampliar el universo de The Witcher, junto con el juego de mesa físico y su contraparte digital.
Sin duda al ser un RPG el mundo de The Witcher se adapta fácilmente a las mecánicas de un MOBA, aunque obviamente al ser para móviles está más del lado casual. The Witcher Battle Arena tendrá próximamente una beta cerrada en Android, y para tener oportunidad de participar deben registrarse en thewitcherbattlearena.com/beta.
Los seleccionados podrán probar ocho héroes en los mapas The Arena, y Korath Desert, en la modalidad Conquest. Así como desarrollar a su personajes al puro estilo RPG de acuerdo a la desarrolladora, junto con otras funcionalidades que tendrá el juego final.
The Witcher Battle Arena será lanzado en iOS, Android y Windows Phone antes de que termine el año.

Once launched, the closed beta will allow the community to test the core functionalities of Battle Arena and will help CD PROJEKT RED and Fuero Games balance gameplay, fix potential netcode issues and further refine in-game features. Upon being granted access to the event, selected participants will be given the possibility to playtest 8 heroes on two maps playable in Conquest Mode–The Arena and Korath Desert. Players will also have the opportunity to develop their player profiles in an RPG fashion, as well as help to test several other functionalities present in the full game coming later this year.
