Square Enix y United Front Games presentaron el primer video con gameplay de la Definitive Edition de Sleeping Dogs, en el que muestran las mejoras que traerá esta nueva versión para PC, PlayStation 4, y Xbox One.
El video menciona nuevas características de Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition como “más tráfico y peatones” en la calle — así es, mismo argumento que el de GTAV — nuevo audio, visuales, y una experiencia más envolvente. La real adición es que esta renovada versión de Sleeping Dogs contendrá los DLC de historia que fueron lanzados para el título.

Los Angeles (25th September 2014) – Square Enix and United Front Games today release a brand new 101 Trailer that details everything you need to know about SLEEPING DOGS™: DEFINITIVE EDITION.
Game improvements include native 1080p and new high resolution textures for the new generation of consoles, increased traffic and pedestrian density, new lighting, ambient fog and improved gameplay. In addition, a total of 24 pieces of downloadable content have been integrated into the gaming experience, including the story-extending episode Year of the Snake and the horror-themed add-on Nightmare in North Point.
