Esta semana Deep Silver anunció la disponibilidad de Dead Island: Epidemic en Steam Early Access, después de que en febrero iniciara la beta cerrada de esta variante de los MOBA, que han denominado ZOMBA – Zombie Online Multiplayer Battle Arena.
Este ZOMBA que pondrá a competir a tres equipos de cuatro jugadores por suministros y captura de puntos de interés, será free-to-play una vez que sea lanzado oficialmente, pero pueden asegurar cierta ventaja, y el poder jugar desde ya, adquiriendo algunos de los paquetes disponibles en la versión Steam Early Access del título.
El paquete Patient Zero de $17 USD, los hará acreedores a cinco armas únicas, tres personajes adicionales, el martillo Golden Sprocket, puntos de personaje y equipo, dinero dentro del juego, y power-ups. El paquete Deadicated de $40 USD, contiene todo lo del paquete Patient Zero, más seis armas nivel 2, la escopeta Golden Precise, el Keghammer, mayor cantidad de power-ups, mayor cantidad de dinero, y puntos de personaje y equipos, así como el poder tener a Sam B como personaje. El último paquete Contagion de $45 USD, viene con todo lo del paquete Deadicated, más el título e ícono Contagious dentro del juego, y el poder regalar tres copias extras del paquete a amigos.

Debuting with three different Early Access starter packs to choose from, Deep Silver alsointroduces iconic Dead Island heroSam B as a playable character. All Early Access options contain exclusive weapons, upgrades and in-game currency that can be used straightaway or during the upcoming Open Beta phase and at the launch of the final game.
Pitting 3 teams of players against each other in a desperate fight for survival, Dead Island: Epidemic is aFree-to-Play PC title that will feature all the trademark elements that are part of a Dead Island experience and much more.
Included in each pack:
· Patient Zero Pack ($16.99) –
The entry pack offers 5 unique weapons, 3additional characters, the “Golden Sprocket Hammer” as well as boosters, character & gear points and in-game cash.
· Deadicated Pack ($39.99) –
The “Deadicated Pack” includes all of the“Patient Zero Pack” plus additional content: six Tier 2 weapons, the “Golden Precise Shotgun”, the “Keghammer”, a larger booster and bundle of character & gear points and in-game cash plus exclusive access to Sam B as playable character. Additionally, players will also receive even more items & characters once the game heads into Open Beta and then again at the launch phase.
· Contagion Pack ($44.99) –
